There is something beautiful about the heartbreak of a loss. The hurt proves love was planted. The healing allows a deeper Love to be cultivated.
As a child, I once told my father, “It only takes one person to love for it to be real.”
How true I know that to be, now.
Even though Jesus would be rejected by His own people. Even though we’d not love in return. As a matter of fact, we had Him crucified.
True love is a treasure, hidden in the depths of a yearning soul.
It’s as demanding as a grave.
Stronger than death.
As breath-taking as an empty tomb..
It is the Power of His Resurrection.
Death was the most final part of life, until Jesus came. Now, in Christ, we have the Blessed Assurance that death has lost it’s sting, and that it is not the end, but an eternal beginning. Perfect Love casts out all fear.
Thank You, Jesus.
